About Us

Our firm, Corvinus Consulting Group has been established in 2009. Since then we grew and expanded on our new service ideas offered to the very small companies. We are all in the US, most of us are CPAs, MBAs; we also have Certified Fraud Examiners among us. Also, most of our accounting staff members are Certified Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisors. Our professionals strive to meet and exceed expectations through their unique combination of professional service, advanced expertise and state-of-the-art technology. We are committed to providing a wide-ranging financial and business solution, we are more than just a typical accounting firm - we are a trusted advisor to our clients. We offer all our services virtually, but we can be onsite as well, as appropriate.

Our firm is a proud participant of the Startup America Partnership. Under the Partnership, we provide some pro-bono time to our startup clients, we also offer our services at a highly discounted prices as compared to our competitors.
We strongly believe in small business as the backbone of our country.

We are here to make them succeed at the very beginning of their journey, and assist them in their growth – every step of the way.

We joined the Startup America Partnership in 2012. Under this partnership, we are committed to provide some time to startups on a pro-bono basis, and the rest of our services are offered at a lower than usual rate.

To assist the small and solo businesses better, we offer our services on an a-la-carte basis - the Client picks and chooses services, adding, changing, modifying is as easy as it gets. Also, if there is a short-term task requires some professional attentions (cost proposal assistance for and RFP, or NICRA preparation), we can do that as well. Moreover, we offer our services billable on an hourly basis or as monthly fixed fee. We encourage the use of credit cards when our Clients pay us, so they have another 30 days to truly pay their bill.
Sylvia Pacher is a managing director at Corvinus Consulting Group,

responsible for services provided by our “Virtual Corporate” team. She is a seasoned and innovative professional with proven business development and training acumen, well-versed on the field of smaill business accounting, bookkeeping, business management consulting, government contracting, litigation support, forensic and dispute consulting and of anti-money laundering cases. She has a unique ability to proactively identify and resolve problems, control cost, maximize productivity and profit. Sylvia has a diverse background including experience in accounting, finance, dispute and forensic and government contracting arena.

Sylvia holds an MBA, and she is also a Ceritfied Fraud Examiner (CFE).

Accounting, NICRA preparation and negotiation, government grant and contract administration, RFP preparation, cost proposal preparation, CFO services, Deltek GCS Premier, Quickbooks, small business accounting and financial consulting, government contracting, cost accounting, dispute litigation, forensic audit, investigations, FCPA investigations.
Every year we assist a small business with full-scale business services,

without limitation to hours or services. It is the most we can do to the community. We try to pick an entity doing something very unique in our community - something badly needed but not offered by any other entities.

This year we are providing accounting, tax, business consulting services to a local private school providing exceptional education to highly gifted children from the age of 3. In the metro-DC area this is the only school caring for the emotional and intellectual needs of this children population.

We are proudly sponsoring them in the 2012-2013 school year.
